Essembly Alumni

This format doesn't work as well as essembly, discussions get hidden and lost in the jumble. The problem with essembly is that there's nobody in control to handle gross abuse. One of the great things about essembly was that there was minimal oversight, but some oversight is necessary. People have fled the site because they know that on any given day Punches may get his meds out of sync and repeat his attacks.

But that's exactly what he said he was going to do. During the campaign he said he would draw down in Iraq and increase the effort in Afghanistan.

Yeah [sigh], an asshole insults a jerk and an idiot starts a war.

He's expanding in Afghanistan, but he's begun to pull out of Iraq. And he's dealing with a situation that was in place when he came to power. The last guy invaded a country that was posing virtually no threat to us.

Also, they couldn't call their all-terrain vehicles "Hummers" any more.

The worse thing?

A stronger, more efficient military that could be misused by some future idiot President to unnecessarily kill even more people than the last idiot President did.

I would guess that this area will serve as a meeting place for the essembly alums, but that most our activity will be on the main board.
